Bianca Craiovanu
Bianca Craioveanu este actualul președinte al Ligii Studenților Farmaciști din Timișoara. Până să-și dea seama că are nevoie de o schimbare în viața ei și până să înțeleagă care este acea schimbare, a trecut un an în care ar fi putut să facă voluntariat și acum, spune ea, anul acela îi pare un an pierdut. Când era studentă în anul I avea o altă viziune, își dorea doar să învețe și să aibă note mari, dar mai apoi și-a dat seama că nu era împlinită pe plan personal și vroia mai mult de la viață; neștiind însă exact ce să facă, a început să observe ce fac colegele ei în ligă.
Inițial, mărturisește ea, i-a fost frică, a crezut că nu o să mai aibă timp pentru nimic, dar, văzând câte ar fi avut de pierdut, și-a luat inima în dinți și s-a hotărât să încerce. Iar acum, trăind de ceva timp în afara zonei ei de confort, poate spune fără ezitare că limita după care ne ghidăm în general este una imaginară și, de fapt, o putem muta oricând dorim.
În procesul ei de creștere și dezvoltare au fost prezenți oameni care au știut să-i descopere potențialul și s-o încurajeze să-și pună ideile în aplicare, ceea ce a făcut ca, într-un final, să descopere că ce o face fericită și împlinită sunt oamenii care cresc frumos, mai ales dacă la această creștere a contribuit și ea, prin propria experiență. În cele din urmă, crede ea, voluntariatul este o poveste despre oameni și umanitate, dar la finalul fiecărei zile, este povestea fiecăruia dintre noi, dacă a însemnat un plus în minte, suflet și viață.
Motivația ei crește când vede din partea voluntarilor deschidere, curiozitate și energia de a muta munții din loc. Aceasta o determină întotdeauna să continue să se dezvolte, ca să le poată oferi acestora mai multe experiențe și informații.
Cel mai important lucru pe care l-a învățat din munca de voluntariat este că atunci când te oferi să faci această muncă dorești, în primul rând, să-i ajuți pe ceilalți, dar tu însuți ai mult mai mult de câștigat din această activitate, deoarece puterea exemplului este cea mai ușoară cale spre motivație și evoluție. Până la urmă, orice lucru bun făcut pentru altul este și un bine făcut pentru tine, ne spune Bianca în încheiere.
Bianca Craioveanu is the current president of the League of Pharmacist Students from Timișoara. Until she realized that she needed a change in her life and before she understood what that change was, a year passed in which she could have volunteered and now she says that year seems like a lost year. When she was a first-year student, she had a different vision, she just wanted to learn and have high grades, but then she realized that she was not fulfilled personally and she wanted more from life; not knowing exactly what to do though, she decided to notice what her colleagues in the league were doing.
She confesses that at first she was afraid, because she thought she would have no time for anything, but, seeing how much she would have to lose, she mustered up her courage and decided to try. And now, having lived for some time outside her comfort zone, she can say without hesitation that the limit we generally let ourselves be guided by is an imaginary one and, in fact, we can push it whenever we want.
In her growth and development process there were people who knew how to discover her potential and encourage her to implement her ideas, which, in the end, made her discover that what makes her happy and fulfilled are the people who grow up beautifully, especially if, through her own experience, she can contribute to that growth. In the end, she believes, volunteering is about people and humanity, but at the end of each day, if it brought a little expansion of mind, soul, and life, it is about each of us.
Her motivation increases when she sees the volunteers’ openness, curiosity and energy to move mountains. This always makes her want to continue to develop, so that she can offer them more experiences and information.
The most important thing she learned from volunteering is that when you engage in this kind work you want, first of all, to help others, but it is really you who has much more to gain from this activity, because the power of example is the easiest way to motivation and evolution. In the end, Bianca tells us, any good thing that you do for another is a good thing you do for yourself.
