Denisa Pap-Gherasim
Denisa Pap-Gherasim are 21 de ani, și se descrie ca o persoană ambițioasă, onestă, sensibilă și cu spirit de inițiativă. În prezent, activează ca voluntar în cadrul Ligii AC, organizația studențească din Facultatea de Automatică și Calculatoare, unde este și studentă în anul III. Consideră că face parte dintr-o comunitate de tineri activi, cărora le pasă de ce se întâmplă în jur și care s-au săturat de toate neregulile existente deja de prea mult timp și au decis „să ia frâiele în propriile mâini”. Crede cu tărie că tinerii din ziua de astăzi sunt oameni pentru care zicala „lasă că merge și așa” nu există și că ei sunt cei ce vor contribui esențial la adevărata schimbare.
Denisa a îmbrățișat voluntariatul cu mult timp în urmă, încă dinainte de a-l numi așa, pe vremea când, copil fiind, și-a dat seama că își dorește să ajute și să se implice, pentru că bucuria celor care beneficiau de pe urma realizărilor ei era hrana sufletului său. Își găsește motivația tocmai în aceste lucruri care par mărunte sau banale, dar au o mare însemnătate pentru ea.
Povestea ei începe în școala generală, unde a avut șansa să fie înconjurată de cadre didactice minunate, care au contribuit la dezvoltarea elevilor și au avut grijă să le faciliteze oportunități de învățare non-formală și să le insufle dragostea pentru voluntariat și implicare în societate. Cu ajutorul lor, ne spune Denisa, a făcut primii pași din călătoria sa, iar faptul că a apucat acest drum este, crede ea, cel mai bun lucru pe care i-l puteau oferi acei ani de școală.
Mai târziu, s-a implicat în activități de caritate și diferite alte oportunități prin care putea să ajute comunitatea, iar în prezent se implică activ în reprezentarea studențească, în cadrul organizației din care face parte, Liga AC – Liga Studenților din Facultatea de Automatică și Calculatoare.
Iar peste 10 ani, încheie Denisa, cu siguranță își dorește să ajungă în punctul în care să poată oferi înzecit celor din jurul ei tot ceea ce a primit ea. Își dorește să-i poată ajuta pe cei aflați în nevoie și care nu au cui să ceară ajutorul și, în general, să-i poată ajuta pe ceilalți să se dezvolte și să își găsească calea pe care vor să o urmeze.
Denisa Pap-Gherasim is 21 and she describes herself as an ambitious, honest, sensitive person with a spirit of initiative. Currently, she works as a volunteer in the AC League, the student organization of the Faculty of Automation and Computer Science, where she is also a third year student. She considers that she is part of a community of active young people, who care about what is happening around them and who are tired of all the irregularities that have existed for too long and have decided to “take the reins in their own hands.” She strongly believes that today’s youth are people for whom the saying “don’t bother, it’s working just enough” does not apply and that they are the ones who will make an essential contribution to real change.
Denisa embraced volunteering a long time ago, even before she called it that, when, as a child, she realized that she wanted to help and get involved, because the joy of those who benefited from her activity was food for her soul. She finds her motivation precisely in these things, that seem small or trivial, but for her they have great value.
Her story begins in high school, where she had the chance to be surrounded by wonderful teachers, who contributed to the development of students and took care to facilitate non-formal learning opportunities and instill in them a love for volunteering and involvement in society. Denisa tells us it was with their help that she took the first steps on her journey, and she believes that the fact that she took this path is the best thing that those years of school could offer her.
Later, she became involved in charitable activities and various other opportunities to help the community, and is currently actively involved in student representation, within the organization of which she is part, the AC League – the League of Students in the Faculty of Automation and Computer Science.
And in 10 years time, Denisa concludes, she certainly wants to get to the point where she can give forward tenfold to those around her everything she has been offered. She wants to be able to help those in need and who have no one to ask for help and, in general, to be able to help others to develop and find the path they want to follow.
